Quadruplet A Cappella Group Vintage Mix to Sing at Their 17th Stars and Stripes Honor Flight

MILWAUKEE - VINTAGE MIX, LLC, announced today that Vintage Mix will be participating in their 17th Stars and Stripes Honor Flight at Mitchell International Airport on May 21. It will be the first time in over two years that Vintage Mix will make an appearance and perform for an Honor Flight.

“To say we are excited is an understatement,” said Kelsey, member of Vintage Mix. “Every Honor Flight is so surreal as we shake the hands of hundreds of our nation's heroes and witness America’s history. While we will never truly understand the sacrifices our veterans have made, we hope to show our gratitude by honoring and thanking them for their service. In the words of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight (SSHF), every day is a bonus, and we are so thankful to have the opportunity to perform and celebrate our veterans on their special day.”

Vintage Mix has partnered with non-profit organization Stars and Stripes Honor Flight for eight years to entertain and thank veterans for their service. To get a glimpse of an “Honor Flight day” from Vintage Mix’s perspective, the quadruplets wake up at 4 AM to travel to Mitchell International Airport. Upon their airport arrival, they begin entertaining WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans with 1940’s music and big band tunes prior to the veterans’ departure to Washington D.C. to see their war memorials.

Not only does Vintage Mix volunteer with SSHF by singing to veterans on Honor Flight days, but they also - prior to the event - devote numerous hours to handwriting and designing personalized cards dedicated to every veteran on the honor flight, thanking them for their service.

Vintage Mix looks forward to May 21 to entertain the veterans, honor America’s heroes, and thank them for their service in-person at Mitchell International Airport (MKE).
