This sweet 90-year-old woman by the name of Mary Ann Schmitt is why we sing barbershop music: She encourages the next generation of singers.
Mary Ann has faithfully supported our vocal group for seven years, smiling from the front row at our various performances in Wisconsin. As the wife of one of the Schmitt Brothers, she has been immersed in barbershop music all her life and wants to see the genre thriving in the next generation.
We hope to further her and her family’s legacy as we continue to perform across the nation. Thank you Mary Ann for being an example to us. We love you!
